Yankee candle Vanilla Oak?

Post by KellyM on Tue Nov 16, 2010 6:40 pm

Has anyone smelled this? Supposedly it's a retired scent that they've brought back for a limited time... I saved last weeks and this weeks babysitting money and want to order while they still have their buy 2 get 2 free promo...

or the Mistletoe & Fig scent??

I know I want Autumn Fruit (smelled this one before) and Sparkling Pine..even though its on backorder until next week..I just need to find two more. The Vanilla Oak sounds intriguing...the description they give for it is:The comforting richness of fine aged wood and fresh vanilla spice create a welcoming warmth.

Hmm, well I took a chance and have decided to order the Vanilla Oak too...I want atleast one scent that is not super sweet. Autumn Fruit is very sweet..and Sparkling Pine I think is the best Christmas scent I have tried of theirs. I have tried other candles Apples & Oak scent and I love that..so I'm just going to assume it's like that but with vanilla instead of apples.. However I am worried if I like it, that I'm dooming myself because it's a retired fragrance that they are bringing back for a limited time...and if I decide I like it I may not be able to always find it...

Kelly, does Bath & Body Works have their "Winter" fragrance again this year? THAT is my favorite Christmas scent!

I don't know...I haven't been to the Mall lately...Online they have it in the candle, wallflower, fragrance oil and room spray. In the body products, atleast from the website it looks like the winter scents they are carrying this year are Twisted Peppermint, Winter Candy Apple, Vanilla Bean Noel and Fresh Balsam...They do have other holiday scents but not in body care..

My Bath and Body Works favorite for handsoap is Midnight Pomegranate, I love it year round, but especially around Christmas. As far as home fragrance that would have to be hands down Creamy Nutmeg...

My favorite for body cream was Creamy Coconut which they discontinued Sad..
Favorite for hand sanitizer is Japanese Cherry Blossom...

A couple of weeks ago, I took a trip to Calais, Maine to a store called Knock on Wood.
What a nice store it was!! Too nice. Razz I spent over $160.00 on Yankee Candles and didn't get 2 of the same scent. I love, love, love Yankee Candles. Very Happy
