I agree with Rebecca! But I'll watch the show when I get the chance later tonight. I like that sort of show. What does he do with them once he catches them? Are they still protected in the wild? I know they farm them but I also know that the laws change when an animal is wild.

I'm scared of alligators. No idea why, but I have bad dreams about them. I should be having nightmares about bears, not gators.

I do not get along well with gators - they make me shutter. I am one to opt for flutter.

Flutter I will be doing, when John Prine releases his new cd - In Person And On Stage due May 25th.

We have a season on them. but its short and you have to get in the lottery to win a tag.

hows this for a story about a gator.

gonna make it short.
friend of ours coon hunts.
went hunting, they have GPS units on their dogs collars.
the dogs tree'd, and they followed with their little GPS things. the dogs had crossed the river, they got all the dogs back but one. The GPS said that dog was floating down the river. they fiqured he had lost the colar and was tree'd with a few of the other dogs down the woods a piece.

got there and no, so they eventually went home, went back the next day looking for him. no sign. usually a coon dog will eventually turn up at someones house.

So, a month or so goes by and Micheal gets a phone call, someone had found his collar. he asked if it was still ON his dog. they said no. It was in the body of a gator they killed.

Kid you NOT.

Chelle, it already started, on CMT..check the listings. The one they caught on the golf course was BEHIND the freakin mall, in Nederland....right in the middle of town.

OH, and my Dad saw about 7 yesterday morning at the Cassels Boykin Boat ramp....medium to large ones, and one small one 5-6 feet he thought.

We were swimming at Wolf creek a couple of years ago, some old man came down there with his dog. It was barking at the kids( ages 1-7 ish) and jumped in the ater playing with them.......not 6 feet from me I heard a SNAP and the dog was gone. She was about 10 foot....someone shot her a few days later. Never swam in Wolf creek again.

Dogs, cats, small- medium animals, small kids are all gator prey.

You gave me the heebie jeebies. I am scared of most water creatures... you wont catch me near the minnows, lol. I only swim where there is chlorine and I can see the whole thing to be sure there are no fish, gators included or Jason anywhere to be seen.
