Men's flip-flops/sandals to fit wide/fat feet?

OK, if anyone knows of a brand or style of men's flip-flops that would fit wide/fat feet, I could really use a tip. My son has not been able to slip his feet into any pair that he's tried on. When we were in San Diego, he said all he wanted to do was get a "foot tan". He's always wearing athletic shoes or work shoes or golf shoes and he is really over it and wants a pair of flip flops. EVERYONE wears them in the dorms and I would love to surprise him with some for Christmas.

If anyone has a spouse or significant other who may have the same problem and has found a pair to fit - please share?

Tredz, Toegoz, or Reef. DH wears a 13.5 wide shoe, and those all fit him well.

This is the pair dh has, they havea bottle opener in the sole....mine have a flask. LOL
